The LX85-ACF's unique optical design reveals coma-free, pinpoint star images as well as a flat field that is integral for astrophotographers and observatories alike. The Meade ACF OTA also minimizes astigmatism and eliminates diffractions spikes found in classical RC telescopes. No competing Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope can make those claims. It is also easy to attach this OTA to any number of mounts using the Vixen-style dovetail.
