The aperture of 100mm and folded optics make this telescope a great tool when it comes to capturing views of deep sky objects without the long and hard to transport design of a Newtonian reflector or refractor with the same focal length.

 

EXOS EQ3 Nano Mount and Tripod

 

The EXOS Nano mount is a light-duty, manual German equatorial mount, complete with flexible slow motion controls. Users can smoothly and manually track objects as they move through the night sky. The included tripod is full size and has an accessory tray that can be used to hold eyepieces and other accessories while observing. The accessory tray also enhances the stability of the tripod.

The mount can hold up to 15 lb of equipment.
