This Explore Scientific H-Beta is a line filter that will only transmit the hydrogen-beta line and blocks all other wavelengths. Hydrogen is the most common element in the Universe, and many nebulae shine brightly in the light of H-Beta.
The Explore Scientific 1.25" H-Beta Filter has a transmission of 94.5% from 478nm to 496nm. Peak transmission is 489nm. This filter is mounted in a 1.25" metal cell and fits all standard 1-1/4" eyepieces and filter wheels.
