An exceptional value for astronomers of all ages, Celestron's AstroMaster telescopes produce sharp, clear images of the Moon, planets, and even objects beyond our Solar System. You won't believe how easy it is to see the moons of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn with your AstroMaster 130EQ. When used for astronomical viewing, AstroMasters yield breathtaking views of the Moon, Saturn's ring structure, Jupiter's cloud bands and moons, favorite deep sky objects like the Orion Nebula, star clusters, and more.
The Celestron AstroMaster 130 EQ Reflector features all-glass optical elements, smooth operating steel tripod mountings with manual motion controls, and coated optics for enhanced image brightness and clarity. The quick-release, no-tool dovetail attachment makes setup a breeze. It's all anchored by a rugged, pre-assembled tripod with 1.25” steel tube legs, providing a rigid and stable platform. Finally, a deluxe accessory tray helps you keep track of eyepieces and accessories in the dark.
The included "The Sky" Level 1 planetarium software features a 10,000-object database with star maps and enhanced images. Or download Celestron's free SkyPortal planetarium app for your mobile device with over 100,000 objects. It's your perfect companion for a night of stargazing.

Take your Celestron AstroMaster 130EQ to the next level with a motor drive. This included motor allows the telescope to continuously track an object without the need to touch the telescope. The motor drive automatically turns the telescope at a pace to counter the movement of the Earth. This means if you are looking at Jupiter, there is no need to continue to turn the telescope tracking knobs to keep it in your eyepiece for viewing. With the motor drive, the object you are viewing stays in your eyepiece the entire time.
