Use this 1.25" Celestron Neutral Density Moon Filter to view lunar features without much glare! Attached this filter to your 1.25" eyepiece to reduce the light entering your eyepiece by 87%. The Moon is easily the brightest object in the night sky, making it difficult to discern surface features. Thankfully this filter solves this problem by allowing only 13% of the telescope's light to reach the eyepiece. Now you can comfortably view surface features without squinting or straining your eyes. 

Contrary to color filters, Neutral Density Moon filters affect all colors of the visual spectrum equally, darkening the image without the color fluctuating. Therefore, this filter is great reducing glare and increasing contrast when viewing bright planets like Venus or Jupiter. You can even use this filter to dim bright stars when splitting close double stars. Made of glass with an aluminum cell, this Celestron Moon Filter attaches to 1.25" eyepieces and features threading on both sides for stacking with color filters.
